I realise I have been a little silent on the blogging front since New Years. This is for various reasons, the biggest being the recent wedding of our very close friends. As a bridesmaid/ hen weekend co-oridnator/ hands on, crafting helper I have had quite a bit less time on my hands so I decided to put the blog on hold for a month or so.
As it happened, the wedding also presented me with a new and unexpected path to follow for 2013.
It is with a great deal of excitement and anticipation that I announce that Thread & Ginger will now be specialising in jewellery and brooch bridal bouquets, with plenty of inspiring and stunning accessories to follow throughout the year.

Some of you may have taken a peek at these types of bouquets already. They originally became popular in the States and have slowly begun to make an appearance in British weddings and on British wedding blogs.
They are a perfect addition to the vintage style of wedding which is becoming more and more popular in the UK, so it was only a matter of time before brides began to choose them for their big day.
